

Current Experience
Working as the Assistant Director of Social Media for the University of North Florida has helped me gain expertise in social media management and proficiency in designing promotional and interactive graphics for all platforms. From creating promotional videos to scheduling daily content, I am able to promote the University's brand to ensure a strong and consistent identity. In my current role, I manage the official social media pages for the University of North Florida.
Previous Social Media Experience
Managing the social media accounts for the office of Campus Life (now known as Osprey Life) at UNF was one of the most rewarding experiences, especially when tracking follower analytics. It was so exciting to see how the followers increased each month. During my time as the social media manager, I was able to increase the followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I also single-handedly launched their Snapchat account in February of 2015 and was able to gain almost 2000 followers by the time I left the position in October 2017.

Branded GIFs
GIFs are such a crucial part of today's social media and I wanted to make sure the University of North Florida was keeping up with the latest trends. I designed these UNF branded GIFs to be used as stickers on Instagram stories. GIFs are a great way to promote your brand while increasing engagement!






Utilzing Snapchat Filters
Snapchat makes it easy to customize filters to fit your needs. I was able to design a Snapchat filter for a contest hosted by UNF Campus Life. The most spirited Snapchat of a student wearing UNF attire and using the Blue and Gray Wednesday filter won a prize. Having almost 30 submissions, it was a great way for students to follow UNF Campus Life on Snapchat and also promoted school spirit.



Snapchat Departmental Promotion
After reaching over 1,000 followers on the UNF Campus Life Snapchat account, I wanted to create content that was not only informative for students but also fun. This is where #FeatureFriday came into play. Every Friday the UNF Campus Life Snapchat account would feature a student group or department where I would film and they would promote their area and how it benefits UNF students. After the feature was posted on Snapchat, each snap was downloaded and a video was created and posted on other platforms to reach as many students as possible. The video below features UNF Club Alliance, a student-run organization that houses all the student clubs on campus.
